Furnishing
Polaris World Homestyle have a superb choice of furniture, indoor, outdoor and electricals. They can offer a complete package and a no-hassle approach to furnishing your property. Their furniture store is located next door to the main Polaris World office in Balsicas. As Polaris World built the resorts then their furniture arm is very familiar with the properties. They can complete light fittings etc in your absence perhaps ahead of you visiting the property.

Currency Exchange
You may have used your bank for the payment of the deposit but there are less costly ways to transfer money out to Spain and more importantly you will get a better exchange rate than through a high street bank. Many of the currency services only deal with lump sum payments but one of the largest Moneycorp have a system whereby you can send regular transfers from your UK account. They claim to be able to save about £800 per year against the high street banks on regular transfers of 1000 Euros per month.

Insurance
You may be tied in with the banks product for the first year but it will be well worth giving Linea Direct a call for comparison or for future years. Linea Direct is the Spanish arm of Direct Line and the benefit is that everything is in English and they are very competitive. Their website is: https://www.lineadirecta.com

WARNING...Your UK HOME COuld be at risk!!
This is absolutely true!! You will now want to spend all of your money on your Spanish home. Do not neglect your home in the UK....But seriously - we saved over £200 in a year with Utility Warehouse on just two of the products. They suggest a typical family can save £800.
