The latest estimate is November 2009 for the course to be fully completed, playable by December 2009 - the full 18 holes. The course at Condado de Alhama will be the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course on the six Polaris World resorts based in Murcia, Spain.
Polaris World Begins Penthouses Construction at Terrazas de la Torre
Polaris World have started construction of the "Penthouse" apartments at Terrazas de la Torre golf resort in Murcia, Spain. Phases 2 and 12 are currently under construction. Work began on the new phases in May 2009 and typically we expect completion of these units within 12-18 months. Phase 1 was recently completed and handed over to buyers while the 18 hole golf course is now well advanced and expected to be playable this year. It is encouraging to see construction on the Polaris World resorts despite the recent credit crisis. Polaris World recently restructured their business and the ability to now begin such building work shows promising signs for the years ahead.
Polaris World Launches Annual Golf Membership
Property and golf course developer Polaris World have introduced a new annual membership for the Nicklaus Golf Trail in Murcia, Spain. Owners on the Polaris World resorts will be able to take out a 12 month membership for €2500 per annum. Family membership is available at €3600 per annum. A limited number of memberships are available for 12 months from June 2009. Non residents can also buy the annual membership at €3000 for a single member and €4500 for a family membership. The membership is valid for all the Polaris World golf courses.
Polaris World begins construction on La Manga villas
Polaris World has this week started construction on the La Manga villas in Murcia. The six luxury beach front villas are located on the La Manga strip in Murcia, Spain. Polaris World has six resorts in the Murcia region all with Jack Nicklaus golf courses. Property starts from as little as 87,950 Euros. The luxury beachfront villas at La Manga strip are in the same location as the Polaris World beach club.

Property released this week includes the Jardines and Penthouse apartments at Condado de Alhama resort. Prices for a garden property with two bedrooms start from 87,500 Euros. Three bedroom apartments are available from 99,000 Euros and frontline Penthouse apartments with views over the Jack Nicklaus Signature course start from just 99,000 Euros.
Polaris World Opens Mar Menor Showhomes
Polaris World, developers of the Mar Menor resort in Murcia, Spain and six further resorts in the area have opened two new showhomes. The two bedroom and three bedroom show apartments at La Goleta on the perimeter of the Mar Menor resort opened on 2 February 2009. The new showhomes are soon to be followed by a show apartment inside the resort at the fabulous new Altos apartments. The spacious two and three bedroom apartments all have two bathrooms, large terraces and views of the Nicklaus nine-hole golf extension to the existing nine hole course. The Altos showhomes are expected to open before the end of this month.

Polaris World Resorts To Receive Boost With New International Airport
Owners and visitors to the Polaris World resorts are set to receive a boost with the opening of a new international airport already under construction. Construction of the airport at Corvera in Murcia began in July 2008. The airport, which is expected to take its first flights in the summer of 2010, will be one of Spain's largest airports. Situated centrally for Polaris World the airport is within 10 -20 minutes of the six Polaris World resorts in the Murcia region.

Polaris World. Progress update for Condado de Alhama resort
Construction work on the Polaris World resort of Condado de Alhama, set to become the largest residential golf resort in Europe, is progressing at a rapid rate. Progress has been so spectacular that during May 2008, only a year after work began, Jardines de Alhama clients will begin to sign the deeds for their properties.
