Condado de Alhama is the largest Polaris World resort to date. It hosts the first Jack Nicklaus Signature course. The full 18 hole course opened in December 2009 and has had some fantasic reviews with many claiming it now to be the best course at any of the resorts that Polaris World have built.

The resort is a 15 minute drive from the Mazarron beach and 20 minutes from the new Corvera International airport which is under construction. Meanwhile Murcia (San Javier) airport is just 40 minutes away and Alicante 60 minutes. Other nearby attractions include the city of Murcia, Cartagena and Sierra Espuna National Park. Sports facilities on the resort include several tennis courts, three football pitches, squash courts and paddle courts. There are over 20 swimming pools serving the various apartments.

The town centre at Condado de Alhama, Al Kasar opened in July 2009. The town centre has capacity for around 20 shops, bars and restaurants. Already there is a large supermarket open along with an Irish bar and two restaurants. The local town hall of Murcia has opened a tourist office in the town centre. Further openings are planned for the future.The Jack Nicklaus Signature course now open is the first of three courses planned for the resort. A separate clubhouse with stunning views across the golf course and on to the mountains in Sierra Espuna national park is to be built in 2011.

In addition to the main town centre there is also a tapas bar and sports area close to the Jardines de Alhama apartments.
